Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

Depart Kampala/Entebbe for 3 days Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Kibale Forest National Park, Western Uganda. Drive through Mityana-Mubende then to Fort Portal city where you will have lunch stop.

After, connect to Kibale National Park while enjoying the incredible view of the countryside extensive tea plantations, landscapes and a lot more. Dinner and overnight stay at Uganda safari lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest & guided nature walk in Bigodi Swamp

After breakfast, assemble at Kanyanchu Visitor Centre to verify at reception desk then join other visitors for the 7:00am briefing on chimpanzee tracking rules. You will also be assigned to a park guide and at 8:00am, begin your chimp trek that lasts for 2-4 hours.

On spotting a habituated chimpanzee community, you will have 1 hour of magical encounter, photography and exploring more about chimpanzee behavior. Amazingly, expect to see other primates and numerous bird species. Return to have lunch break and relaxation.

At 2:00am, Bigodi Wetland will be your next area of exploration but specifically on a guided nature walk. Expect to sight more primates, birds especially the Great blue turaco and other mammals, plants. Dinner and overnight stay at chimpanzee safari lodge.
